Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Lexington's city streets, public parking lots, parks, and street signs.  In addition, we maintain and repair the municipal water system, sanitary sewer system, and storm sewer.  Our Public Works Department consists of two full-time employees.  Feel free to contact our staff at any time with your questions, comments, or suggestions.

Please call the Centennial Lakes Police Department with any after hours public works emergencies including sewer backups, water leaks, and street problems. They will then contact our "on-call" staff.  To reach the Centennial Lakes Dispatch (Non-Emergency) call 763-427-1212

Our City Engineer provides design, surveying, and project inspection services relating to sewer, water and streets.  We contract with MSA Professional Services for engineering services.
