
The City of Lexington is located entirely within the Centennial Independent School District #12. This district also serves the portions of eastern Blaine, most of Lino Lakes, and the entirety of both Circle Pines and Centerville.
The district provides five elementary schools for children in kindergarten through grade 5, one middle school for grades 6 through 8, and one senior high school for grades 9 through 12. The district also has an Early Childhood Education Center, Centennial Area Alternative Program (CAAP) and a Learning Center.
