PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION VACANCY

The City of Lexington is currently seeking a candidate to fill a vacancy on its Planning and Zoning Commission. The Planning and Zoning holds public hearings, and makes recommendations to the City Council and the Board of Appeals and Adjustments where applicable.  They review all applications for zoning amendments, conditional use permits, and variances. The Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M.

Lexington residents interested in serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission shall submit a letter of interest and employment application to the City of Lexington, Attn: Planning and Zoning Commission, 9180 Lexington Ave., Lexington, MN 55014. Letters of interest should contain the applicant’s name, address, telephone number and a brief statement listing their interest in seeking this position. A background check is required.
